To sum up what Section 31 Security is all about I’m going to quote some famous dialogue:
Sloan: “Our official designation is Section 31”
Bashir: “Never heard of it”
Sloan: “We keep a low profile, works out better that way for all concerned.”
I believe that no truer words were ever spoken when it comes to cybersecurity.
Section 31 Security Mission Statement:
1. Ensure that cybersecurity professionals have the tools and support they need to help others effectively.
2. Ensure that the people we serve have the best tools and support that they need to protect themselves against ALL threats.
3. Unify all cybersecurity professionals under a single roof to more effectively combat the issues facing the cybersecurity industry.
4. Allow those individuals that are new to the world of cybersecurity to gain practical real world experience in a safe manner.
5. To educate CXO’s and management about cybersecurity and cybersecurity threats that impact their organizations.
